John Gertz, SETI Institute Chairman is the president and CEO of Zorro Productions, Inc., which he founded in 1977. He has been responsible for four Zorro motion pictures including Zorro, the Gay Blade (1982), The Mask of Zorro (1998), and The Legend of Zorro (2005), the last two starring Antonio Banderas and Catherine Zeta -Jones. Also under his tenure, five different ZORRO TV series have been produced, as well as about twenty ZORRO stage productions.
Andrew Fraknoi, SETI Institute Vice Chairman is the Chair of the Astronomy Department at Foothill College located in Los Altos, California. Fraknoi was the Carnegie Edowment for Higher Education’s 2007 California Professor of the Year. He has been the Director of Project Astro and Family Astro since 1991. Fraknoi is als co-editor of Astronomy Education Review, and is lead author of Voyages Through the Universe, a college textbooks series.
Dane Glasgow, SETI Institute Trustee is a Vice President of Global Product Management at Ebay, and former Director of Program Management at Microsoft Live Search. Glasgow was also General Manager for the Windows Live Portal & Information Services Client team and President of Jump.com.
Russ Holdstein, SETI Institute Trustee is an active investor/adviser for young technology companies and a lecturer in entrepreneurship, UC Berkeley Haas Business School. Holdstein is a former CFO of Rolling Stone Magazine.
Pierre Schwob, SETI Institute Trustee is the CEO and founder of Classical Archives. He was adjunct assistant professor computer science, N.Y.U. 1981-86; holder of several U.S. and foreign patents; founded PRS Corporation, an R&D company in 1978 where he developed the award-winning ID LOGIC® technology which was incorporated into a U.S. national standard and licensed to the major consumer electronics manufacturers.
